Choose your jeans by body type
For women with wider hips, opt for jeans with a slightly high waist and flared legs. This helps balance the silhouette. Your hips will appear more proportional as your legs look longer. Waist measurement is important to take.
If you are petite and slim, choose cigarette or slim jeans. If you are curvier, a straight and slightly flared cut will be more flattering.
If you are very slim, wear low-rise jeans with a straight cut and slightly flared legs. The tallest among you can dare the slim cut.
For those with a fuller bottom, prefer a wide cut that does not cling.
For women with a bit of tummy, high-waisted jeans are recommended.
My jeans, my style!
For a casual style, choose wide-leg jeans with a low waist. Wear them with sneakers or leather ballet flats.
For a fashion-forward look, high-waisted jeans are essential! With a shirt, heels and a nice handbag, it's chic and simple.
For a classic style, choose light blue jeans with a standard straight cut and mid-low waist. A simple top in a sober, solid colour, a short jacket and you're done!
Jean waist heights:
Here are the three types of jean waist positioning:
High-rise: below the navel.
Mid-rise: 3 to 4 cm below the navel, sitting on the hips.
Low-rise: 5 to 6 cm below the navel.
Jean cuts:
After choosing the rise, pick the cut:
Slim / Skinny : Slim or skinny: tight-fitting from hips to ankles.
Standard / Droit : Standard or straight: straight along the entire leg, fitted without being tight.
Carrot : Carrot: tight at the bottom with wide hips. For slender figures.
Bootcut : Bootcut: straight on the thighs, slightly flared below the knee.
Flare : Flare: very wide bell-bottoms but fitted at the waist.
Extra-flare : Extra-flare: wide, very wide. For a cool boho hippie look.
Loose / Baggy : Loose / baggy (boyfriend): wide from the hips and legs.
Sarouel : Harem pants: loose crotch. Comfortable.

To avoid getting the wrong size, carefully measure your waist and hips and check against the table at the top of the page.
Choosing and caring for your jeans
Jeans last about two years. Do not wash above 30°C as cotton jeans stretch when worn. Washing at too high a temperature will deform them further. Jeans should be washed after being worn two or three times.
